Wo-hoo! Just got word that the last game I worked on -
50Cent: Bulletproof - sold more than any of us developing it expected.
As of December last year, it has sold over 1.6 million units worldwide.
That in itself is quite cool, but the fact that I also started receiving royalties from it is even cooler.
Yep, my first "real" royalty - may they only multiply.
Today was a generally happy day, so I had to commemorate it on my web site as well.
I really have nothing further to say.
Yeah I would like it if the game didn't get reviewed so badly, but ultimately reviewers review all games at the same scale - those that take 6 years to make and those that take 8 months.
In that sense, for Bulletproof it was more important that we get the project done on time then to delay it and arguably create a better reviewing experience.
